Epic Arts Workshops Day 01
Day One by Chris Bunton
It was the first day working with the Special Education program participants in the morning. In the afternoon we were working together with the Inclusive Arts Course.
I liked to work and meet with the IAC because the group were friendly and gave me some ideas to give the show more vibes.
The most surprising moments were the animals on the side of the unsealed gravelled road and that some of the participants speaking english.
I feel happy, excited and brave to be working today.
Day One by Audrey O’Connor
Special Education; I introduced the Name Game to everyone to get involved. I liked meeting new people and also learning about them. I got a bit tuned out, and couldn’t think . I really enjoyed the dance.
Day One by Rachel Sugrim
Today we got up put our RUCKUS ‘Speed of Life’ singlets on, some people went to have breakfast then RUCKUS started their first workshop with the Special Education Program people. When I first saw them I was amazed and surprised to see what they can really do and sometimes I think, wish and dreamed about what more can I do to help them to do more things. We had two workshops one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
In the afternoon, after lunch, we worked with the Inclusive Arts course on:
– Introduction by Chris
– The Name Game by Audrey
– This is not a… by James
– Sinking and Rising by Dean
– My Poem by Rachel
After the workshops, we had dinner and then back to the hotel and went to bed. By the end of the day I was tired and hungry.
