MARTIN FOX

MARTIN FOX (Co-collaborator/Video) has a thirty-five year career span as a video artist, professional editor, sound recordist and director, mostly for film and documentaries as well as for a number of dance productions. Martin has been video artist for De Quincey Co’s Metadata and Linda Luke’s solo Still Point Turning, Dean Walsh’s Fathom and edited video for several dance works, including Margie Medlin’s dance film Morphing Physiology; Ros Warby’s dance performances Monumental and Tower Suites. Recent film directing credits include William Yang’s My Generation, Blood links and Friends of Dorothy and editor for feature films 6Plots , Dalkeith, and Deeper than Blue. Television documentaries include, Riot or Revolution: Eureka Stockade, (ABC), Bob Brought the War Home, MeMeMe and ADHD, The Choice: Personal Stories About Abortion, Alter Ego and Endangered (all for SBS). Martin’s interests lie in the dialogue between the audience and the work, and how this communication can be nurtured and formed, such that the audience brings much of themselves to the story being told. Martin is working with RUCKUS on the Speed of Life project.
