DIGBY WEBSTER is a co-founding member of RUCKUS and an accomplished visual artist. Digby completed visual arts at Pine Street Studios and filmmaking at Sydney Community College as a member of Bus Stop Films where he was the Co-Production Designer on the award winning short film The Interviewer and a performer in Heartbreak & Beauty. Digby’s art work has been exhibited at numerous galleries and exhibitions including Tin Sheds Gallery, Riverside Theatre Parramatta, DNA projects Chippendale, Annandale Creative Arts Centre and at the Opera House as part of Accessible Arts’ AART.BOXX. He has had 2 sold out solo exhibitions at Leichhardt Library. Digby also had a two week artist residency at Bundanon on the Shoalhaven River in 2014 and is also a subject of Ehsan Knopf’s up coming feature length documentary Flying Solo.
From 2008-2011 Digby was a member of NSW first hip hop group for people with disability First Flight Crew where he produced original music and dance routines alongside one of Australia’s most respected hip hop artist Morganics. First Flight Crew had TV appearances and gigs all across Sydney and went onto become the face of NSW state government campaign Don’t DIS my ABILITY in 2010.
